August 18th (based on the day typhoon Holly hit the island of Okinawa in 1984 and is the typhoon depicted in Karate Kid 2. Since the Karate Kid 2 focuses just as much on Mr. Miyagi as it does Daniel we have chosen this day to be Mr. Miyagi day.)
