Well, so a whole week has gone by since the September tournament finished and if you haven't watched the highlights to see who won you can't blame me for not issuing a spoiler alert.
Onosato took home the Emperor's Cup, his first tournament victory since last year. It wasn't much of a bout with Aonishiki, Onosato basically just ran right through him. That is not a knock on Aonishiki, he put up a spirited fight and had a great tournament, but Onosato is just mush larger and was able to handle Aonishiki well.
We have one more tournament this year which will be in November and will take place in Fukuoka.
Here is a link to Sumo Prime Time's video of all of Onosato's fights.
